I was visiting from Las Vegas and loved this walk around the lake with my sister! It was gorgeous and well maintained. Weather was ideal. If I lived in NC, I'd go here often!

Visiting Apex, NC to see family. This park was really nice. 2 mile walking trail around it. Nicely shaded and lots of wild life. Even a small Copperhead snake 🐍 maybe 14" long.

Great park with a scenic lake trail β€” perfect for a walk, jog, or just clearing your head. The path is well-paved and easy to follow, with nice views of the water along the way. Clean, well-maintained, and never feels too crowded. A solid spot to get outdoors and enjoy some nature without driving far. One of the better community parks in the Triangle area. Worth a visit!

Such a great park to visit and such a great walking trail all along the lake. The surface is paved all the way around and if you want to be closer to nature and off the pavement, there is a wooded trail that cuts in closer to the lake and back up at the end. Just a lovely (2) mile walk with or without the dog …

My favorite park by far!! I love the trail surrounding the lake. There are also some optional paths you can take off the paved roads, leading you straight through the forest, some even leading up to the waters edge. It is so pretty!
